1/12/2021 0 Comments Ellis Marsalis, Jazz LegendIt was one of the great honors of my over 4 decades recording music to have Ellis Marsalis in my studio. I apologized to him for our humble upright piano. He played a few chords and said in his gravely voice, smiling gently, “I’ve played worse.” COVID 19 has taken him. He certainly let his audience know where he stood on his art when he said “ "Everybody that you see on stage at this time is a native of New Orleans, and everybody that you see is dedicated to the conviction that jazz is the greatest American art form, and we're going to perpetuate it." RIP

We've also recorded hundreds of local and national (Schoolboy Q, Fat Trell) hip hop performers going way back to our earliest days when "Duck Walk" by Ginesis ruled Milwaukee's radio and club scene, soon followed by Ray Nitti's "Bow", which we also produced. 1/11/2021 1 Comment January 11th, 2021Professor Pinkerton's Irrelevant Orchestra
